Steam hearts is a shooter with 18+ animated cutscenes in between each level. This project was the first fully vector based artwork restoration project that I finished. Due to the high value of the of each of these games for the respective systems the only files I could originally find for this were very low quality blurry pictures. I was able to eventually find some slightly higher quality pictures, but decided to redraw everything to make it as crisp and clean as possible to properly represent this game and to give the best experience I could.
the Sega Saturn version of this game will require either a mod chip or a pseudo Saturn cartridge to play.
The PC engine CD version of the game does not require a mod chip but you may require a system 3 hu card for some versions of the PC engine CD.
This package includes two CDs one for each system as well as a reversible cover. I chose the Sega Saturn version as the clothed cover due to the Saturn version being slightly censored. The PC engine CD version has an entirely unique nude cover that I converted over since this version of the game is not censored.
The PC-98 version of the game will not be included with this package but in the future there may be an upgraded package that will include an English patch for this version exclusively.
